Mod Installation (Patch 6)

Do an initial boot of the game (vanilla), and immediately exit upon seeing the title screen

Add the launch option --skip-launcher on steam

Install Native Mods and Script Extender

Download NativeMods.zip and extract it into the same directory as bg3.exe. When prompted, select "yes" to replace. This includes the following mods:

• Norbyte's Script Extender
• Native Mod Loader
• Native Camera Tweaks

The script extender auto updates when you launch the game, however, you may need to update Native Mod Loader or Native Camera Tweaks manually.

Install Mods

Download Mods.zip and extract the contents to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods. The folder should contain a bunch of *.pak files when you are done.

Next, download modsettings.lsx (you may need to right click -> Save As), and overwrite the file at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx.
